[Labels Pro] How to connect Labels Pro with your eParcel account

In order to set up the plugin to access your contract rates and start printing labels, you need to obtain the following information: To access your contract rates and print labels with an eParcel account, you need:

  • Account Number
  • API Key
  • API Password

Step 1: Register for the Shipping and Tracking API

  1. Register at https://developers.auspost.com.au/register
  2. Log in at https://developers.auspost.com.au/apis
  3. In the Shipping and Tracking section, click Register for a key
  4. Complete the registration form with your Australia Post account details
  5. Choose Platform Partner as the integration method
  6. Select WPRuby from the list. If WPRuby isn’t listed, choose Other and enter WPRuby
    (WPRuby is an official Australia Post platform partner.)

After you submit, Australia Post typically replies within 24 hours. If approved, you’ll receive an email with a PDF containing your API credentials.

If you don’t receive an email within 24 hours, check your spam folder or contact Australia Post at [email protected].

Step 2: Enter your credentials in Australia Post Centre

  1. In WordPress, go to WooCommerce → Australia Post Centre
  2. Open the Settings tab
  3. In the Account section, set Account Type to eParcel
  4. Enter your credentials:
    • API Key
    • Account Number
    • API Password
  5. Click Test Connection in the Australia Post Centre header to confirm the credentials are valid
  6. Click Save Changes

Step 3: Enable contract postage (optional)

If you want contracted rates at checkout:

  1. Enable Enable Contract Postage
  2. Under Enabled Contract Options, select the eParcel services you want available
    (Use Refresh if the list isn’t loaded yet)
  3. Click Save Changes

You don’t need contract postage enabled just to print labels — only if you want contracted rates shown at checkout.
