Australia Post Tracking
The Australia Post plugin allows you to display shipment tracking information to customers.
How tracking works depends on which version of the plugin you are using:
- Pro: You manually enter the tracking number and shipping date.
- Labels Pro: Tracking details are generated automatically when you create a shipping label.
Pro
If you are using the Pro version without label generation, you can add tracking details manually from the WooCommerce order page.
Open the order, then find the Australia Post Tracking box.
Enter the following details:
- Tracking number
- Shipping date
These fields are used to show the tracking information to the customer.
Customers can view the tracking details from their My Account area. A Track button will be available on the order page when tracking information has been added.
The tracking number can also be shown in the order details and included in customer emails, such as the order completed email.
Labels Pro
If you are using Labels Pro, you do not need to manually enter the tracking number in the Australia Post Tracking box.
When you create a label, the plugin automatically receives the tracking details from Australia Post.
After the label is created, the plugin can display:
- Calculated shipping price
- Package weight
- Selected postage product
- Tracking ID
- Article ID
- Shipment status
- Tracking events
The tracking events show the shipment progress, such as when the parcel is processed, in transit, awaiting collection, or delivered.
The tracking number is also included in customer emails and shown in the customer’s account area.

Tracking on the Orders Page
The admin can also view shipment tracking directly from the WooCommerce Orders page.
A Shipment Tracking column shows the tracking number for each order, making it easier to check shipment status without opening the order page.
