Processing a few WooCommerce orders one at a time is manageable. As order volume grows, however, repeating the same steps for every shipment quickly becomes a bottleneck.
Australia Post for WooCommerce version 7 is designed to remove that bottleneck.
The release introduces an end-to-end bulk fulfilment workflow that lets you move multiple WooCommerce orders through validation, shipping-price calculation, shipment creation and label printing from one place. It also brings better international-shipping validation, more control over Australia Post services and a cleaner plugin administration experience.
Process multiple WooCommerce orders in one workflow
Bulk label printing is the headline feature in version 7, but the improvement starts before the label is created.
From the new bulk-processing table, you can filter orders by date, select the orders you want to fulfil and process them together. The plugin then helps you move through the complete workflow:
- Fetch and validate the selected WooCommerce orders.
- Calculate the available Australia Post shipping prices.
- Select or change the postage service for each shipment.
- Create the shipments with Australia Post.
- Generate and download the shipping labels in bulk.
- Create and download a bulk shipping-order summary.
Instead of opening each order and repeating these steps individually, your team can manage the day’s shipments from a single screen.

Catch shipment problems before printing
A fast bulk workflow is only useful when it makes errors easier to resolve. Version 7 validates the selected orders and displays clear messages when information is missing or invalid.
Label printing remains unavailable until the required shipping prices have been resolved. This prevents incomplete orders from being pushed through accidentally and gives your team a clear path to fixing the affected shipment.
The bulk table also includes confirmation and cancellation controls, helping protect against unintended actions while processing a large group of orders.
Choose the right Australia Post service for each order
Version 7 gives you more control over the postage product used for each shipment.
You can select an available Australia Post service from the bulk workflow. If you change the service, the plugin recalculates the shipping price and shows the price for the newly selected product.
The selected product is then used when the label is created and saved with the WooCommerce order, giving you a more consistent record of how each order was shipped.
You can also see shipment status information from the orders list and update WooCommerce order statuses as shipments are processed.
Fix international customs data without leaving the workflow
International orders often require additional customs details, and a single missing field can stop a label from being created.
Version 7 adds stronger validation for international shipments, including checks for clearance items and HS tariff codes. If an order needs attention, the Fix Customs Data option lets you review, edit and save its customs information from the bulk workflow.
Customs descriptions can also fall back to the WooCommerce product title when an appropriate description has not been supplied, reducing unnecessary manual entry while keeping the shipment moving.

Add delivery options in bulk
The updated workflow supports commonly used shipment options, including:
- Signature on delivery
- Extra Cover
- Bulk Statement of Delivery support
These options can be applied as part of the bulk shipment process instead of requiring a separate workflow for each order.
A cleaner settings and support experience
Version 7 also improves the experience behind the scenes.
The Australia Post settings have been streamlined, with sensible defaults for shipping and centre settings. WPRuby-branded tab navigation makes the plugin’s tools easier to find, while the Shipping Health area provides clearer checks for:
- Australia Post API connectivity
- Plugin and API versions
- Licence status
- Important configuration details
We have also addressed issues affecting stored-order data, label re-downloads, endpoints and MyPost Business workflows to make day-to-day fulfilment more reliable.

Built for stores that have outgrown one-order-at-a-time shipping
Version 7 will have the greatest impact on WooCommerce stores that process batches of Australia Post shipments each day.
Whether fulfilment is handled by a store owner, a warehouse team or an agency managing several stores, the goal is the same: reduce repetitive work, surface problems earlier and shorten the path from paid order to printed shipping label.
With bulk processing, more deliberate validation and better visibility across each shipment, Australia Post for WooCommerce v7 gives growing stores a fulfilment workflow that can keep up with their order volume.
