WooCommerce is one of the most popular ecommerce plugins available for WordPress. This plugin has a lot of features which can help you customize your online store and make it more user-friendly. It has a wide variety of shipping options that you can choose from. But how to set per product shipping in the store?

Using a Table Rate Shipping Plugin.

To set a shipping price for each product, you may use a table rate shipping, but what we noticed is that almost all free table rate shipping plugins on wordpress.org will only allow you to add shipping price based on cart total and cart weight, and if you need to add rules based on products, you will need to pay for a premium version of the plugin.

Using Per Product Shipping for WooCommerce

Per Product Shipping for WooCommerce is a free WooCommerce extension that allows online store owners to set shipping prices for each product individually.
You can set different shipping rates for different products in WooCommerce by using the plugin. This is a very useful plugin that you can use to change the default shipping rate. You can set different shipping rates for different products in WooCommerce.

Users can set shipping prices for each product based on the quantity of the items in the cart, also, country, state, and postcodes. The plugin also supports sorting the shipping rules, the first rule that matches the rule conditions will be added to the shipping costs.

You can also set different shipping prices for different countries. If you want to charge a different shipping price for different countries, you can use the country selector. You can select any country that you want.

Line Cost vs. Item Cost

Line Cost is added for the whole line of the product regardless of the quantity. Item Cost is added to each unit of the product in the cart. For example, if you want to charge $5 for shipping on a product in each quantity, you can choose the Line Cost of 0 and the Item Cost of $5. On the other hand, if you want to charge 5$ shipping for a product regardless of the quantity you can set Line Cost to 5$ and Item Cost to 0. So the total cost of shipping will be calculated as:

Shipping Cost = (Item Cost x quantity) + Line Cost
