## Does it need a page builder?

No. Gemelune is a block theme, so you edit it in the WordPress Site Editor.

## Why don’t my metals show as swatches?

Swatches appear for global attributes named Metal or Color (slugs `metal`, `metal-color`, `metal-colour`, `color` or `colour`) used for variations. Set each metal's colour under **Configure terms**. See [Metals, sizes and swatches](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/gemelune-products/).

## Where do the size guide and delivery information come from?

From your own pages with the slugs `ring-size-guide`, `delivery-returns` and `jewelry-care`. The theme never writes size, delivery or care information of its own. See [Size guide, delivery and care pages](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/gemelune-information-pages/).

## A homepage card links to the shop instead of a collection

The homepage links to categories and tags by slug, and falls back to the shop. Use the same slugs or change the links. See [Where the links go](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/gemelune-homepage/#where-the-links-go).

## Does the newsletter collect email addresses?

Only with a newsletter service. MailPoet is detected automatically, and developers can add any provider with the `gemelune_newsletter_form` filter. Without one, no form is shown. Gemelune never stores subscriber data.

## Will a starter site overwrite my products?

No. A starter only adds its own sample content, and **Remove the starter site** deletes only what it created. See [Import a starter site](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/gemelune-starter-sites/).

## Can I change the colors and fonts?

Yes. Choose Champagne, Noir, Rose Atelier, Gilt or Pearl under **Appearance → Editor → Styles**, or change the palette and fonts there yourself. See [Styles, colors and fonts](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/gemelune-styles/).

## Can I change the header and footer?

Yes. Select the header or footer in the Site Editor and choose **Replace**. There are 3 headers and 4 footers.

## Do I need the child theme?

Only for custom CSS, templates, patterns or PHP that should survive updates. Changes made in the Site Editor don't need one. See [Child theme](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/gemelune-child-themes/).

## Do I need a licence key for the theme to work?

No. Gemelune works fully without a licence. An active licence enables one-click updates from the dashboard. See [Activate your licence](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/gemelune-licence/).

## What happens when my licence expires?

The theme keeps working. You stop receiving updates until you renew.
