# Foliowick documentation

Foliowick is a WooCommerce block theme for bookshops: independent bookstores, publishers, rare-book and children's booksellers. Covers stand like books on a shelf, readers discover books by genre, reading list and author, and a journal carries your articles. You edit it in the WordPress Site Editor, and it uses WooCommerce's own blocks for the catalog, filters, book pages, cart, checkout and account.

## No books plugin needed

Foliowick stores no data of its own. Authors, formats, language and ISBN are ordinary WooCommerce product attributes, genres are product categories and reading lists are product tags. You can switch themes without losing anything, and every homepage section hides itself when your store has nothing to show in it.
