## Cartavera 1.4.0

- **Plugin updates:** when the theme includes a newer Cartavera Blocks, WordPress offers it in **Dashboard → Updates**, on the **Plugins** screen and in **Appearance → Cartavera**. See [Updating the companion plugin](https://wpruby.com/knowledgebase/cartavera-installation/#updating-the-companion-plugin).
- **Fix:** an update now downloads straight away after you activate your licence. Before, Dashboard → Updates could keep saying *Update package not available* until WordPress's next update check.

### Cartavera Blocks 1.2.1

- **Fix:** the mini-cart's free-shipping progress bar stays filled.
- **Fix:** the focused item in the category drawer stays in view.

## Cartavera 1.3.0

- **New headers:** Two-row header with utility bar, Centered header (light) and Minimal one-row header.
- **New footers:** Minimal footer, Centered footer (light) and Footer with newsletter sign-up.
- **Pattern library:** 58 patterns in eight categories: hero, collections, promotions, trust and store info, content, newsletter and FAQ. The trust and FAQ patterns only state what your store settings say.
- **New style variations:** Midnight (dark), Atelier and Orchard, for eight in all.
- **Homepage templates** for the Electronics megastore, Fashion boutique and Grocery and fresh food starter sites.
- Dark palettes no longer need any CSS of their own.

### Cartavera Blocks 1.2.0

- **Starter sites:** choose Marketplace, Electronics megastore, Fashion boutique or Grocery and fresh food under **Tools → Cartavera Sample Store**. With Cartavera, the three new ones also apply a style, header, footer and homepage.
- Import and removal run step by step with a progress bar. Removal deletes everything the starter created and puts back your previous styles, header, footer and homepage, unless you changed them after the import.
- WP-CLI: `wp cartavera demo starters` and `wp cartavera demo import --starter=<slug> [--skip-design]`.

## Cartavera 1.2.0

- **Badges:** "New" and "Best seller" on product cards and product pages.
- **Product page:** sale countdown, size guide and wishlist button.
- **Cart:** free-shipping progress in the cart and mini-cart.
- **Mega menu:** the "Marketplace header with mega menu" header, where top categories open panels with images and subcategories on desktop. Phones keep the category drawer.
- **Sticky compact header** block style, with no layout shift.
- **Quick view** for product grids, turned on per grid (off by default).

### Cartavera Blocks 1.1.0

- New blocks: Mega Menu, Product Badges, Sale Countdown, Size Guide and Wishlist Button.
- Quick view, using WooCommerce's own add-to-cart form.
- Free-shipping progress from the lowest Free Shipping minimum in the shopper's zone.
- Size guides are synced patterns, chosen per product or per category.
- The Wishlist Button works with WooCommerce's wishlist, YITH WooCommerce Wishlist and TI WooCommerce Wishlist. Cartavera stores no wishlist data.

## Cartavera 1.1.0

- The store blocks, the sample store importer, the WP-CLI command and recently viewed tracking moved to the free **Cartavera Blocks** plugin. Block names didn't change, so your saved content keeps working.
- Without the plugin, Cartavera uses WordPress and WooCommerce blocks in their place.
- Install and activate the plugin from the admin notice or **Appearance → Cartavera**.

### Cartavera Blocks 1.0.0

- First release. The blocks, sample store importer, WP-CLI command and recently viewed tracking moved here from Cartavera 1.0.

## Cartavera 1.0.0

- First release.
